Vanilla Air's (JW/VNL) third aircraft, Airbus A320-216(SL) JA03VA, was delivered to Tokyo/Narita (NRT/RJAA) on January 21st. Like its first two aircraft, it is leased from AWAS. The following day, the all-white-painted aircraft was ferried to Osaka/Itami (ITM/RJOO), where the white-based version of their livery like its second airplane will be applied at All Nippon Airways' (NH/ANA) maintenance base.
With the addition of JA03VA, Vanilla Air will launch three-times daily Narita - Sapporo/New Chitose (CTS/RJCC) service and increase its Narita - Taipei/Taoyuan (TPE/RCTP) route to double daily on January 29th. The fourth and fifth A320s will be secondhand aircraft leased from sister ANA.
