Skymark Airlines (BC/SKY), as rumored before (Skymark to add more cities from Sendai and Yonago?), announced that they will be launching three more destinations from Yonago (YGJ/RJOH) starting April 1st. They will be serving Tokyo/Haneda (HND/RJTT) twice daily, Sapporo/New Chitose (CTS/RJCC) once daily, and Okinawa/Naha (OKA/ROAH) one time daily. All flights will be operated by 177-seat Boeing 737-800s.
Skymark only started operations at Yonago, its new focus city, on December 20th, 2013, when they launched twice daily service each to Tokyo/Narita (NRT/RJAA) and Kobe (UKB/RJBE). One of the Kobe flights extends to Ibaraki (IBR/RJAH). Until that day, the only domestic route from Yonago was All Nippon Airways' (NH/ANA) service to Haneda.
Skymark currently operates 31 Boeing 737-800s and will take delivery of the first of 10 Airbus A330-300s later this month.
