Japan Airlines' (JL/JAL) 13th Dreamliner, Boeing 787-8 JA833J, was delivered to Tokyo/Narita (NRT/RJAA) on January 9th as flight JL8101. It is JAL's first Charleston-built airframe.
Meanwhile, ANA also took delivery of their 24th example, B787-8 JA824A, which arrived at Tokyo/Haneda (HND/RJTT) as flight NH9397 on January 10th. It is the first Charleston-born example for ANA as well. This is their 10th domestic version, with de-rated Rolls-Royce Trent 1000E engines, and will also become their last B787 to have the billboard '787' titles.
