Peach Aviation (MM/APJ) took delivery of its 12th aircraft, Airbus A320-214 JA812P, on March 13th. Leased from SMBC Aviation Capital, it arrived at the airline's Osaka/Kansai (KIX/RJBB) base on March 14th, local time.
Peach is growing relatively conservatively, adding only two more A320s in 2014, which are coming on-line in June and November, respectively. Three will be added each in 2015 and 2016 for a total of 20 by the end of 2016. The next new route for the fledgling LCC will be Okinawa/Naha (OKA/ROAH) - Fukuoka (FUK/RJFF), to be inaugurated on July 19th (Peach announces Naha - Fukuoka.) coinciding with the launch of their Naha hub.
