I enjoy covering non-ANA/JAL airlines more, and news of ANA/JAL tend to receive English coverage anyway, so I have decided to shift over to mostly LCCs and non-ANA/JAL carriers.Ryosukehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04213870752652946888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2089781978049766859.post-10094493667275037742015-11-15T01:08:13.318+09:002015-11-15T01:08:13.318+09:00Thank you for leaving a comment. However, I do all of this work in my spare time, and it has become difficult to find time to cover and update all of the airlines' news. I will continue to cover most of the mainline non-ANA/JAL carriers.Ryosukehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04213870752652946888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2089781978049766859.post-63212731691858016472015-11-13T15:53:06.083+09:002015-11-13T15:53:06.083+09:00This is a great blog. All rumors a...Thank you for your thoughtful words. All rumors and fingers point at ANA making a binding promise for A380s, and that's the most logical explanation behind Airbus and RR's last-minute sway to ANA; enough 787/777s on order for that segment so A330/350 unlikely, and while more A320 orders are possible, that could have come from Delta as well. An A380 order is the only possible factor Delta couldn't better ANA.

But will ANA really fly the A380? I'm not sure. ANA (along with many others) has opted for more frequencies with 777/787/767-sized planes, and the A380 certainly goes against its plan, especially when they have a split hub at HND and NRT. HND is politically not allowed to accept A380s (to protect NRT and ANA/JAL), but ANA's cozy relationship with the current government may change that if they ask for it. Another possibility is ANA may just dismantle the A380s for spare parts for sale to other carriers. It may seem absurd, but ANA has deep pockets, and they are determined to do whatever they can to keep true competition out of HND and protect its lucrative domestic market.Ryosukehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04213870752652946888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2089781978049766859.post-77286358552913535602015-08-09T14:08:24.340+09:002015-08-09T14:08:24.340+09:00So in your personal opinion, do you think ana will...So in your personal opinion, do you think ana will actually take the a380? They also fly to Kagoshima along with Fukuoka, Sapporo and Kumamoto. :-)

It is also worth noting that the morning service to Kumamoto has been dropped and this new service to Naha is replacing it. So overall service out of Nagoya will remain the same with service to Kumamoto reduced from 2 daily to 1 daily.RampantStupidityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03229019868237537339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2089781978049766859.post-50772013628040674812014-10-13T00:39:51.772+09:002014-10-13T00:39:51.772+09:00Khop khun maak khrap. As with most other LCCs, they run on a tight schedule, and with a small fleet they don't have much room for aircraft groundings. Using congested Narita is also one of the factors delays are frequent. Both of Tokyo's airports are too busy.Ryosukehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04213870752652946888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2089781978049766859.post-20721817359264146772014-04-30T12:19:16.668+09:002014-04-30T12:19:16.668+09:00Hi.
